We are all part of it - as actors playing different parts and living emotions. All in the grand drama (“leela”) of life, in which often the ego is the director, without our knowledge. Ego, is not meant as “arrogance” or “hubris” as is used in normal parlance. Ego indicates identification with thought and the more we identify with stressful thoughts, the more we seem to suffer emotionally.
“Aham Leela” is a screen where I catch the drama dreamt up by my separate self “Aham”, driven by ego - and show you how I distinguished reality from illusion from doing the Work. In my experience, once I see and distance myself from the dream, a space opens up, that can be called by many names - the heart, intuition, truth, one-ness or God. I have experienced that space fill up with compassion, gratitude, and inspiration. And in that space, both the “leela” and my separateness (“Aham”) start melting.
Sounds too much? :) Why believe me, when you can collect your entry ticket, and watch the sitcom yourself? :)
I plan to share anecdotal summaries and insights from my own Work. While the issues and thoughts are always real and have happened, some of the details are edited at times to make them appropriate for public consumption. Of course, where I have facilitated the Work for others - all names and personal details have been changed to protect privacy.
I will also share personal reflections from materials I consume around spirituality, non-duality teachings, and the intersection of psychotherapy and the Work.
I might also write about life, and some poetry. Because, why not? :)
